Ralph Hahmann Investment Fund Representative

Before starting my career in financial services in 1986, I worked for many years as a Marine Engineer with BC Ferry Corporation. I began getting interested in the money business five years earlier as a result of reading articles and books on the subject.

My favorite mentor was Paul Rockel, founder and President of Regal Capital Planners whom I later joined as a representative on a new career path, in 1986.

When I joined Regal Capital Planners, I had already been an investor with mutual funds, and became very enthusiastic about this professionally managed money concept.

In 1996 an opportunity arose to research and consult for international clients that needed offshore investment expertise. This consulting service was provided through a separate corporate entity and required my resignation from Regal Capital Planners. This experience broadened my investment horizons further. When this project was complete I took some time off to travel and enjoy life.

Upon re-establishing my domestic business with Regal Capital Planners, the company was purchased by Cartier Partners, and as of December 2003, that company was purchased by Dundee Wealth Management. Dundee Private Investors Inc. now sponsors my mutual funds licence. As well as serving clients at a local level, I network with like-minded professionals in the other areas of financial managment to give clients a one-stop service package.
